Reading Refugee Support Group’s vision is for an inclusive society where refugees and asylum-seekers of diverse cultural backgrounds are treated with respect; where their essential needs are met; where they can find access to their legal rights and where they are enabled to play a valuable role within the wider community.
The challenges facing refugees and asylum-seekers are multiple and we try to “walk with them”; give them the tools to be independent; to access their legal rights and to encourage their self-esteem and confidence.
